@Brownian_motion me, too! My understanding is that the Empire Builder was delayed by severe winter weather up in the Dakotas many times. I hope that this extra shorter trip will be on time more often. And more convenient times of day!
I took the Empire Builder to Chicago in October of 2022 and it was really nice. And I loved how it drops you off right in downtown Chicago with easy access to their excellent bus and L train system. As a tourist, it was great!
@Brownian_motion and if you haven't taken it before, the train trip from St. Paul through SE Minnesota and SW Wisconsin is GORGEOUS. Rivers, forests, cliffs, hills... super pretty.
