@stroughtonsmith I wouldn't personally risk it but I'd imagine it goes away in 3 years at the first press story of someone getting a huge bill from Apple.
Tom Insam@paul @stroughtonsmith in practice Apple won’t use this to bankrupt a tiny developer. That’s not the purpose of the fee. The purpose is the chilling effect where sure they probably won’t do it but they could, so I’d better not ship anything they don’t approve of. I should probably just stay in the App Store.
Ovi@paul @stroughtonsmith but wouldn’t that be the case only if you’re highly successful with your app? And if so, is the expectation to not pay anything at all for the technologies Apple develops and makes available to developers?
