@spacewizard Oh, I don't know , that's a little harsh. Dick Moores was a master, and Jim Scancarelli has had his moments in the 35 or so years since he took over the strip. I would say newspaper industry circumstances diminished the Alley more than the creators.
@ComicBookProgressive there's definitely some life to those strips, you're right, and a lot of artistic skill, even some wit. But the old stuff has really drawn me in in a way the modern grandpa humor doesn't.
