@jeffowski Taking care of others also improves your life as your community improves, and all around you. I can explain this easily and I do already when they start arguing things like how immigration is taking our jobs and government money, if those immigrants are healthy and working I don't see what's wrong, they're improving our economy, they consume, they produce... we need to help them to get educated (career) and wish them the best. They can be our future scientists too. Just an example.

@jeffowski In the world of conservatives it`s social darwinism and survival of the fittest, that`s taught to kids early on. If you always have to come first, everyone is a competitor and empathy is a hindrance.
