Good morning from baby goat land! Still just the 2 babies so far, but 1 mama goat is due today and 1 tomorrow, so there should be more soon!

(I hope they have them earlier rather than later, toward the end of this week I have to spend a bunch of time on campus...)

Learning how those wobbly little legs work
More babies just happened! Pictures soon

Had some grading deadlines (which I am...probably not going to make). So, took me a bit to post these, but enjoy these brand new goats!

The mama had them in the big outside barn, so we moved all of them in to the warmer baby stall, and once the babies started nursing and the placenta came out, we're 95% in the clear and can (mostly) relax.

And then this happened. The llama was pretty ok becoming a goat playground, and the baby goat seemed to enjoy his luxurious, floofy coat (that badly needs to be sheared...almost warm enough to finally do that)
@sundogplanets awwwwww! Hey, is it true that Llamas have a better temperament than Alpacas?
@kimlockhartga I don't have a comparison because I've never been around an alpaca, but my llama is *super* chill
