Anybody working on a dev project that needs to be deployed on the cloud? The job market is dry right now and they all want cloud experience. I'd be interested in lending a hand on a cloud project to get that experience.
I have massive experience in machine learning, and also with Python, so that's what I have to offer in exchange for gaining that valuable cloud experience.

Lie? Cloud is just a PC on the Internet - could be anything
@mp Won't work. It's more than that, honestly. I worked a little in that direction just before I was laid off, and the infrastructure for virtualization was a lot more complex than just "a PC on the internet". It's a whole new set of concepts and skills, which I don't have.
@hosford42 Ah - Sysadmin. Yes - that's quite complex and i'm lacking more than hobby expertise there too.

First comment is from my narrow web-dev viewpoint - where cloud often just means: use azure or amazon services. mea culpa
@hosford42 maybe @Seegras  has some hints on how to learn something in that direction?
I just remember Ansible? to deploy a minecraft server (Thanks!)

@mp @hosford42 Any config-management system is a good idea. Ansible, OpenTofu (Open Source Terraform), Salt, Chef, even Puppet. Pick one, deploy anything (like a modded minecraft server) anywhere: Hetzner, AWS, Azure...
