One of the shots from the roll I shot yesterday at the Dive Masters of San Antonio Grand Re-Opening! Congrats! It was a fun day and here's to the next chapter of the long history of Dive Masters. Hopefully I made Tom proud since he used to shoot on film too! Folks in the area who are interested in scuba diving should pay the shop a visit! The new sign looks just incredible and I'm eager to photograph the storefront at night!

Shot on HP5 (at 400) with my Hasselblad and the 80mm lens and developed in 510-Pyro. Admittedly I'm still getting a bit used to the 'blad which is part of the reason I took it over one of my typical 35mm setups. I wanted to get some more recent practice since I hadn't taken it out since January and plan on taking it to Iceland (along with my 4x5).

I had a funky issue unloading the roll where the exposed tape/leader got wound around one of the rollers weirdly. Took me a while to sort out why it wasn't advancing after the 12th shot right but I got it sorted. The film wasn't as lightly wound as a result so I got some edge leaks but fortunately nothing that made it into the frames. Something I'll wanna be mindful for Iceland I suppose. Alas I was going to actually use the 2nd back I purchased for the 'blad but it wasn't loading paper backing properly. the metal guide that film is supposed to go under was _super_ tight, to the point it was crinkling the backing paper. So in a small scramble to find a 2nd back before our trip...oh well! That's part of shooting on film and even with occasional setbacks I love it!
