This morning at 10AM I got an email from my new internet provider, welcoming me - they have bought the provider I have been using for 3½ years.

At 18:45 this evening, IPv6 stopped working on my connection.

I have tried rebooting the router and my laptop to no avail. They don't get IPv6-addresses any more.

That was a quick degradation of service!

Now I'm anticipating that they will drop the reverse DNS entry for my public IPv4 address and start blocking selected ports...

Anyway, it's still #backupfriday, so time to get that usb-disk spinning.

My monitoring shows that IPv6 service returned at 23:00.
