I felt like a time traveler today. I asked a 26 year old guy, "Do you like Smashing Pumpkins?"

He looked confused for a moment, and then he said, "I don't think I've ever done that."

I explained that they were a band from Chicago that was fairly big in the 1990s.

"I've never heard of them," he said.
