More than 200 faculty say they’ve lost confidence in UT Austin President Jay Hartzell

The UT Austin chapter of the American Association of University Professors is circulating a letter to gauge interest in a possible vote to censure President Hartzell. Faculty said they lost faith in him after he called in law enforcement to shut down a peaceful, pro-Palestinian protest.

I would say that this alum has too, but it's been years since I came to realize that Jay Hartzell is a spineless tub of goo who does whatever Gregg Abbott wants.

Not one more dollar of mine is going to UT.
