Ergative Absolutive@kottke Did you ever see the At Berkeley movie? it was a really good series of images from a year on campus at Berkeley, the year that students occupied Wheeler Hall. We got a snippet of an admin meeting, in which the admins basically said exactly this.
'Yes, I know we occupied buildings the Free Speech Movement, which is comemorated on campus by a cafe literally called the Free Speech Movement Cafe, but kids these days are different. They don't know how to occupy a building right.'
