Stay safe from cyber threats!

Dark Web Monitoring is available to all paying users of #ProtonMail.

If you register for an online service that gets hacked or suffers a #databreach, Proton will now alert you, so you can take immediate action: https://proton.me/blog/dark-web-monitoring

To get started, open the Security Center in the Proton Mail web app: https://proton.me/support/dark-web-monitoring

We hope you’ll never receive breach alerts, though 🤞

@protonprivacy Isn't it funny how staying safe is always a question of much money you can afford?
@gobsmacked @protonprivacy That's life almost, many foss projects alao still add donation options, because nothing is truly free. If it makes the service exist longer I'm fine with that.
@supernov Good for you. Is see it critical, cause it means safety becomes a business, that simply leaves people behind, who can't afford it. But it seems that is, what a careless, society that prays to capitalism thinks is fair.

@gobsmacked @supernov what would you do then?

Nothing is ever "free".

@EowynCarter Okay, then why having passwords for free? Lets make people pay for that too. Safety costs, right?

@gobsmacked @supernov why not make everything free then?

People need motivation to subscribe and keep the service sustainable.

@EowynCarter Cause it's okay to make people pay for things they want, but don't need.
It's not okay to make them pay for something they need, in order to stay safe.
