@sitka Probably. I think its essentially a voltage controlled attenuator? I know its not an amplifier

I'm really after the simplest VCA-like effect :)

I didn't really test it myself, but I've heard that low pass gates also slightly cut the higher frequincies toguther with the level, which in some cases sounds even better than regular VCA :)
