After Stevie Ray Vaughn died, the members of his band Double Trouble put together another band and had some success of their own for a few years before disbanding. This tune reminds me of my most recent long term relationship with the woman who ended up a cheerleading tRumpanzee. Played it for her once, said it was for her. She didn’t like it much. 😎

@BrianJopek

I got to see Stevie Ray Vaughn in Boise in ‘89. It was a small venue, so amazing.

@wa7iut I would have loved to have seen him
@wa7iut As it is, I’ve been fortunate enough to see Jimmy Page with The Firm in Denver in ‘85 and Ritchie Blackmore on Deep Purple’s “Perfect Strangers” tour in ‘85, Mike Campbell with Tom Petty in ‘83, ZZ Top that same year and Keith Richards on the Stones’ “Steel Wheels” tour in ‘89. I saw Foghat in ‘07 but Lonesome Dave and Rod Price were gone by then, of course. It was a good show, though
