I gave this month's Inkscape challenge a go "Draw a simple object in detail".

I rarely do realistic work - as it feels more like copying than creating - but this was fun for a change.
As usual, I used clip groups [to place all the blurred shading objects inside the 4 main parts], gradients, lots of blurs, taper strokes, and changed a few blend modes to 'Overlay' or 'Multiply' to get nicer [warmer] colour mixes.

Yes. It's actually illustrating. But fun to do nevertheless. Especially from a real 3D object, not a 2D photo.

I used photo references but didn't trace the lines.
