I just had my second child and she came in at 9 lb. She’s a chunky little monkey. Our first was a pound lighter and much thinner. Parents who had large babies at birth, did they end up having obesity issues or health concerns later on? Did they eventually grow into the cheeks?

My nephew was born huge and he’s healthy. Kind of a monster, but I blame the excessive telly for that

I was born just over 10lbs. It took years to grow out of the baby fat, but im doing well now.

No, that’s nonsense. I’ve had a petite son and a big daughter. Both are now healthy with average bmi. They’re 10 and 5 now.

Mine was born about 10 pounds. She is now smaller than average as a middle schooler, but all around healthy. Didn’t have any obesity issues thus far.
