Dave NanianSteely Dan - Gaucho (UHQR)
No picture, sorry (I forgot when listening - use the other post as a reference).
The UHQR of Gaucho, despite not being from the original master, sounds significantly better than the same 33RPM cut (from a digital source).
Whether that's due to the all-analog or 45RPM or "clarity vinyl" doesn't really matter - it sounds great.

Attached: 1 image Steely Dan - Gaucho (Bernie Grundman remaster) After yet-another-US-pressing disaster, ordered an EU pressing of the Gaucho remaster, and this is much more like it. Anyway - Gaucho has always been a good sounding album, and this new version is, too. Cymbal work is a little 'splashy' - is that Wendel or is it the digital master? We'll find out when the UHQR comes out, I guess. Lots of detail...you can almost see the cocaine that fueled the (ob)sessions. #nowplaying #vinyl #steelydan
