Installing Firefox on Windows:

  • Open Microsoft Edge
  • Type “firefox” into Bing
  • Scroll past Microsoft trying to get you to not stop using Edge
  • Scroll past 10 malware ads
  • Click on the right search result
  • Find the download button and click it
  • Find where the .exe just went
  • Run the installer
  • Make sure the installer doesn’t download some other crap
  • Reboot your computer
  • Installing Firefox on Linux:

  • It was already installed by default

    @graphite I thought the reason Windows users were mad is because command line scary, as if "apt install firefox" or "pacman -S firefox" is hard to understand. It's literally just "mister package manager, please install this package"

    @graphite @er1 i downloaded an online installer from mozilla.org once and it downloads the latest version at runtime
    and every time i need ff i just download it from my file dump at https://files.eeep.ee/software/firefoxlatest.exe with Invoke-WebRequest in powershell and then run it lmao
