A controversial yet captivating landmark. The Spire, or 'Monument of Light', standing 120 meters high, marks the site of the historical Nelson’s Pillar whitch was destroyed in a powerful explosion on 8 March 1966 It was initially assumed that the monument was destroyed by former IRA members.
