ToroidalCoreThese four are about a year old at this point. They're still shy, and retreat further back into their enclosure when there are visitors, but they're coming out more and more.
A bunch of staff members were in with them today. They have a few favorite people they'll come up to, but they're still not quite sure of me. They will follow the humans they're less familiar with at a distance, and sniff everything we've been in contact with after we've left.
We have the two layers of fencing, one to contain the animals, the other shorter one to keep the humans out. I'm usually taking pictures through the fence since I'm not always up to taking out my phone when inside the enclosures - I don't want one of the older wolves to swipe it, and these four don't always get close enough to take a good picture anyway.
