JitschI got through the #UndeadUnluck anime… it was a chore.
The manga is great, the story is great, and they made it look all nice. But all the lengthy flashbacks and extended still shots they needed to make the end of a specific arc occur after exactly 24 episodes was just jarring.
Seeing Fūko, Andy and the others animated was great and reminded me how much I love this series and pretty much all of its characters. The anime is also the reason I can buy figures of them now. So it wasn’t all bad.
But if you liked the anime, you will love the more fast-paced manga which I wholly recommend.
I also read that unfortunately the anime didn’t significantly boost manga sales so I am not sure if we should count on a 2nd season getting made (if it’s the same style as the first I’m not even sure I want it).
