@flophousepodcast Since you mention, here's a cool feature masto has that the hellsite doesn't: Filters!

Open settings & select Filters on the side. There you can set up a filter. You declare a set of keywords and, if a post matches any of those keywords, it doesn't show up in your feed.

(For configuring a filter I recommend checking "Home & lists", "Public timelines" & "Profiles", and selecting "Hide completely".)

I make use of filters to keep doomscrolly content out of my TL. Do recommend!
