Diane Magras (she/her)Flora sheds a lot on this chair, so we put a couple of books on the seat to try to teach her not to sit there. She has so many other beds in the house that we felt this would be fine. Well, when the sun is on this chair, the books clearly don't bother her! Have you ever seen a cat so comfy on good literature?

If I keep up on shaking them outside & washing….. I think it helps keep the hair down a little bit.

@RiaResists We tried a little throw at one point, but it looked messy, though maybe we'll try it again (though the advantage of books, in the past, is that if we wanted the chair, we wouldn't have to boot her off to use it). But this cat has SO many beds of her own (and beds of ours) to enjoy. She only takes this chair for the ten minutes that the sun is shining straight upon it!
