Reporting from Toronto. My entire itinerary has changed due to a flight disruption. I'll arrive in #Gladstone one day later than originally planned. 🌏🐧

More news.
I'm still in Toronto. We boarded the plane 45 mins ago, after a delay of 2.5 hours, and the crew just showed up. 👀
I was supposed to be in #Gladstone by now, but it looks like I'll be taking my overnight flight from Vancouver to Brisbane tomorrow, instead. So, I'm essentially taking a flight per day, when I was originally scheduled to have three flights on April 11th and arrive in Gladstone on April 13th. On the bright side, I've got free food! 😛

People in Gladstone are so friendly.
First, many others and I were received at the airport by a number of @everythingopen volunteers who drove us to our accommodations. Thanks a lot for that, folks! I wasn't really expecting it, and it was so cool of you to do it.
Later, when I went to the pharmacy and then for dinner, the people who assisted me always did so with a smile on their faces, despite dealing with my soo jet-lagged brain.
The one thing I need to acclimate to quickly is the humidity

In this up-to-date version, I talk about some of the strategies I'm following to fix thousands of -Wflex-array-member-not-at-end warnings, and enable this option in mainline.

After a couple more flights (Vancouver->Toronto->CDMX) I finally arrived in Mexico.
I still have to take a domestic flight tomorrow to get to my final destination.😛
It's been hours on end in airports and airplanes, interacting with all sorts of people along the way. I feel so tired, but at the same time so energized (this is likely just a consequence of sleep deprivation 🤪).
By this time next month I'll be on a similar journey once again (✈️Lund LinuxCon 🐧🇸🇪), so I better get some sleep now.😴✌🏽
Would be worth a re-toot a lot more if the screenshot or the toot would mention what the talk is about 🙃
