After a long pause, the first game of the 2024 #CanPL season kicks off in about 30 minutes.
This young league gets better every year, and I can't wait to see what this year has to offer.
As usual, watch on OneSoccer.

Why do you show the side of the stadium where the fans aren't?
Hey now. This isn't hockey.
Austin Ricci and Manny Aparacio are both in the top 30 Canada Trends on Twitter.
As a fan of the other Ontario team, I have to say, that was a good game to open up the season.
Just under an hour before #ForgeFC vs #CavalryFC
And now, the 2024 edition of the best rivalry in the #CanPL is set to begin.
They just flashed "Bobby Smyrniotis" on screen, while the camera was focused on someone without a beard. I was worried for a second.
Nice goal off a corner from the Cavs. Wrong team, but nice goal.
Aaaand of course Forge would score an equalizer while I'm away getting the tablet for my daughter.
Day 1 of the 2024 #CanPL season over.
Good start to the year.
Both games started and ended the same way. No score in the 1st half. Visiting team scores first. Home team wins 2 -1.
Official attendance in Ottawa: 4049.
Official attendance in Hamilton: 7,395.
I thought Ottawa would at least break 5000 on their home opener.
Hamilton's number is higher than last year's max #CanPL attendance of 7,044, by Ottawa, which is why I thought Ottawa's would be higher today.
@hewer_of_code
I am not surprised at the attendance. Seemed like a good crowd. They have a good product on the field. They have good PR and good front office in #HamOnt. Looking to hit the 10k mark for season games.
These two teams never fail to deliver.
@intothewestaway Yup. I expect to see some 10k+ season games soon, maybe not this season, but before the team/league hit their 10 year anniversary. They've done it for playoff games and CCC games. Doing it for season games is within reach.
I think Ottawa can do it too, to be honest.
