I used to restore 'barn bikes'.
It took me far too long to find out that what looked to be Philips were actually JIS standard.

Of course by the time I got the bikes, they'd all been cammed out by previous owners.

@root After making the mistake of using the "included screws" with a few things this week, I feel your pain.
Just remember, everything takes a flat blade if you have a Dremel and a cut off wheel.
