@ukscone Again I have to tell the story of that SPARCprinter, which had basically no intelligence of its own and was completely controlled by the Sun workstation to which it was attached. And no UI on the printer either. At one point, it just didn't print. After a while, someone noticed there was no paper in it, replaced the paper, and lo!, it printed. First sheet was an error message: "Out of paper"
