@SubtleBlade I read the article, and was struck by the lack of any transgender voices. The doctors talking about a #cultureoffear seem to be concerned that their lack of acceptance of transgender people - the ones they're supposed to be helping, not pathologising - may get pushback.

My sympathy lies with those being failed by the system, not those who want to make it worse.
