A pal of mine accidentally carbonated his toilet water for an unknown number of days recently

I just like to remind myself of this every once in a while.

@gnomon how do you accidentally carbonate your toilet water

@welshpixie

Step 1: install a 5kg CO2 canister & regulator under your kitchen sink because you are a maniac and desire a dedicated faucet for spicy water

Step 2: install a faulty electrovalve downstream of the CO2 regulator

Step 3: have a plumbing system with a slight negative pressure bias from the toilet system

Step 4: neglect to notice your CO2 tank slowly carbonating your whole household plumbing system

Honestly a work of art of unparalleled beauty.

@gnomon @welshpixie And I thought I was a maniac for buying 1kg bricks of dry ice at my grocery store, chewing them up in a 1950s hand-cranked ice crusher, and using the CO2 powder (swiftly, swiftly!) to refill the proprietary gas cannisters that expensively power the market-leading countertop spicy-water dispensers.
@ErosBlog Yeah, I'm gonna need a how-to on this please.
@julie It's not mine, but it's one of the ones I watched when I was figuring this out: https://kinkyelephant.com/@ErosBlog/112254192923559869
