Andrea, what if the medical community reclassified those medical situations and came up with descriptions that were say, more appropriate.
Maybe "surgical excision of tumor" instead of "abortion"!
My physician removed a pre-cancerous lesion from my hand and he didn't call it an abortion!
I refuse to believe that you actually think this is a good idea
@FallsMom @Strandjunker ugh flashing back to this guy I knew who was "above politics" and when I expressed sadness to him over the Kavanaugh hearings he was like "why, did he do something?"
Then he faked suicide for attention. Real charmer.
Anyway.
@Strandjunker My sister had two ectopic pregnancies.
I don't get along with her but the death penalty seems harsh.
@Strandjunker Yeah but some toothless incel right-wing nutjob gets to feel sanctimonious about getting abortion banned, and isn't that really more important?
@textualdeviance @Strandjunker
I'm glad I was a man enough to want my children and I'm glad my parents were not cowards.
@Strandjunker
You think she's joking? You think that won't happen?
The Republican billionaires buying Supreme Court decisions are totally fine with dead women. Tim Dunn. Jeffrey Yass. Dan & Farris Wilks. Barre Seid. Dick Uihlein. Dianne Hendricks.
They want to prohibit women from voting anyway. Dead women don't vote.
Nate Silver did an analysis of Trump winning if women didn't vote.

@Strandjunker Wow. your crowd here is worse than it was on the bird site.
Yes, we need to be understanding the medical terms, and that reproductive attempts often kill women. That's not why I'm here.
I am here because women are being treated like cattle. Still. it needs to stop.
@Rosa @Strandjunker As a matter of fact, to keep the wider conversation on point.
I'm catching a hint of acrimony, here, so Imma be done here, now.
All the best.
@Strandjunker In the 1980s, I had a conversation with a law student doing work on abortion rights at Harvard Law. I suggested that anti-abortion people would end up by having every miscarriage investigated as a possible homicide & that women should sue the authorities who refused them abortions (& their own fetuses) for involuntary servitude.
She didn't like either idea.
@Strandjunker Personally, I wish someone fleeing a U.S. state criminalizing these life-saving treatments overseas and requesting asylum and protection to make a legal precedent to it.
After all, Texas is retroactively prosecuting people with it's borders for ever havingban abortion...
@Strandjunker And for all the conservatives who claim otherwise, I present to you the tragic death of Savita Halappanavar in Ireland. When a country as devoutly Catholic as Ireland is can have safe abortion laws, why can't USA?
Abortion is #healthcare.
