Andrea, what if the medical community reclassified those medical situations and came up with descriptions that were say, more appropriate.

Maybe "surgical excision of tumor" instead of "abortion"!

My physician removed a pre-cancerous lesion from my hand and he didn't call it an abortion!

I've seen otherwise: the belief that every pregnancy is created by God, so if he wants to kill someone with an exploded fallopian tube or a dead fetus, that's his business.

@Strandjunker In the 1980s, I had a conversation with a law student doing work on abortion rights at Harvard Law. I suggested that anti-abortion people would end up by having every miscarriage investigated as a possible homicide & that women should sue the authorities who refused them abortions (& their own fetuses) for involuntary servitude.

She didn't like either idea.

@Strandjunker One of those isn't and never has been a pregnancy. An ectopic implantation isn't a pregnancy. It never has been. Putting it in the category with the other two is a category error. Don't keep making that error.
