There is a growing need for a global stance against the use of technology for oppression. This post delves into the impact of Israeli surveillance technologies in Palestine and how localized instances of its use contribute to widespread acceptance and global adoption of such oppressive practices.

@torproject @kendraserra Not to speak of such uses of technology in China, Russia, and various other repressive regimes The problem is real but the focus of this post on what Israel does just strikes me as reflecting an appeal to a trendy topic
@paulalanlevy @torproject ...calling an ongoing genocide a "trendy topic" seems distasteful to me.

@kendraserra @torproject

When the foo shits, wear it.

Complaining about the bad things Israel does is definitely trendy. When the authors are willing to face up to the homophobia and oppression in many of forces arrayed against Israel -- including Hamas -- let me know.

@paulalanlevy @kendraserra @torproject holy whataboutism batman.

Pathetic.
