I've had a remarkable bout of productivity in writing my dissertation defense in the last 3 days- at last count, I've written 30 new pages about the pre-Conquesr historical context of Mayan numbers, modern Guatemalan educational policy, and of course, the neuroscience behind visual perception of symbolic numbers.

I'm feeling pretty proud of myself.
