A total solar eclipse will take place tomorrow. The track of totality will cross the Pacific Ocean, Mexico, the United States, Canada and the Atlantic Ocean.

A partial solar eclipse will be visible from all of North and Central America, Greenland and Iceland. The partial eclipse would be visible from Ireland and from western and northern parts of Britain shortly before sunset given clear skies.
