It's far more solid and less way buggy/more interoperable than USB C shit which has any many different, incompatible¹, implementions, than there's different devices on the market…

1. Supposedly interoperable… Same connector, same logo, similarly looking cables. Each manufacturer does it's own shit in it's corner and doesnt even tell what supported or not, let alone testing with across different brands.
