I am (perhaps shamefully) delighted by this kind of booze writing:

> The finish is a delightful mix of Cinnamon Twizzlers, burnt marshmallows, Werther’s chewy caramels, and red hots in apple cider, leaving behind a warmth akin to spicy citrus cinnamon and comforting apple pie.

@pluralistic I always thought weed culture couldn't get any sillier, but now with legalization there's the bourgeois "cannabis culture" offshoot which is replete with all that sommelier double talk jargon with a few of the terms swapped out. It rides that same line between amusing and insufferable
@mrcompletely @pluralistic cigar culture is similar. At one point I was trying to get a job writing reviews for cigar magazines, and after reading several examples, just put some moody adverbs in one cup and natural material nouns in the other and drew them at random to describe the sample cigars they sent me.
I didn’t get the gig. But I know I was close.
@graymiller @pluralistic incredible. Just straight up mad libs. It def reads like that
