@Crell Amazing. And what he said (in 1994) about cars and their effect on human quality of living with the example of Toyota doing the “wrong thing right” was pretty fascinating. So much ink has been spilled since then singing the praises of Toyota’s revolutionary production systems improvement process. I’ve read those books, and loved learning about that stuff. But the obvious criticism is that it’s all for nothing if it doesn’t make the world better, which it doesn’t.
