How it started and how it's going.

The Raspberry Pi has been replaced with a used Lenovo ThinkCentre mini PC that I got for a bargain yesterday. It's still only an i3, but it has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of SSD storage and is much faster than the RPi. The external hard drive with its "air cooling" remains for storing fedi contents (already around 35 GB).

I'm planning on moving my blog and other stuff from my Hetzner server to this box now that it has more capacity, and getting rid of the Hetzner one. Pretty fun to run a server at home again after all these years.
@nicd pretty cool! What is your OS setup? Do you plan to run different things directly on Debian or something, or are you using a hypervisor or some containers? I use proxmox for my home box currently
@michal It's Ubuntu Server 22.04. No container stuff, I'm kind of old fashioned.
