Feditext beta users: in order to track down and fix app crashes, especially the startup crash, we need to ask you for full crash data reporting. a few of you have this turned on already (thank you) but we're not getting the coverage we need.

please go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements and enable Share iPhone & Watch Analytics and Share With App Developers. see the attached screenshots.

unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to restrict info sharing to only a subset of third-party app developers, or to share crash stack traces without other analytics. nothing we can do about that.
