Can someone explain to me how this is a good thing?

They're getting rid of state vehicle inspections starting in 2025.

Apparently, Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed some House Bill 3297 thing in June of 2023.

So, no more mandatory inspections in Texas for noncommercial vehicles starting in 2025.

In NY, state we have annual inspections of all vehicles, which include tires, brakes, suspension, etc. but most of all emissions.

I don't see how this is good for Texans

House Bill 3297 was signed by Governor Greg Abott in June of 2023. This will eliminate the required state inspection for noncommercial vehicles beginning in 2025.
