Sad it’s needed but it works like a charm

Mostly when I cross the crossroads I have an Orbital Laser standing by

Just in case of pew pew

@stux
Glad to hear *someone* is finally making good use of those #JewishSpaceLasers. 😉

@MugsysRapSheet I love 'em!

No better then a personal body guard floating around!

@stux perfect for when cops drive by!

@stux
They appear to be foam rubber.

As soon as drivers start to catch on and start ignoring them, they'll need to replace them with REAL bricks. 😉

@MugsysRapSheet Mix ’em up. Keep the drivers anxious. 😰

@stux

@stux omg what genius came up with that lol
@stux bwahaha the finger tapping on the brick, like "thank you for stopping. If you don't... :)"
@stux Absolute genius.

@stux

This is Vancouver, BC.

I've been to Granville hundreds of times (before moving back to the motherland) & have never seen that.

Has to be an April 1st prank

@stux Glad I clicked through on this one :P
@stux where's the traffic Engineer who thought anyone could cross four lanes without a brick?
@stux Unfortunately, it seems those might be needed by women in NYC as well. Sad.
@stux Interesting subtle passive aggressive and practical defense move against vehicular manslaughter. Sweet and Sad!

@stux
(in response to video --Sad it’s needed but it works like a charm)

This. is brilliant. (and yes, sad) So... how do we get this idea into public policy? One idea (not my own) is to start a charity dedicated to getting free handguns (with firearms training, safety training and free lockboxes) into poor and disadvantaged communities... and see how fast gun control makes a come back in the suburbs

@stux
I get it, it's a joke, but do people think the reason people are getting hit by cars is that they aren't armed?
@stux I would not wave a brick at a car in America. You're likely to get shot.
@feld @stux Thank goodness this crosswalk is in Canada.
@tk @stux worse, they have self-aiming attack moose
@stux Security is the watch word. Bricks work.
@stux Can't we replace them by artificial guns ? 🤭
@stux damn... I thought this was a meme! 😆
@stux sadly these ain't real bricks!
@stux Walk slowly and carry a large brick.
