For six days last autumn, a ragtag band of walkers tackled the famed Overland Track and explored central Tasmania’s spectacular flora.

The track is Australia’s premier alpine walk and spans 65 kilometres from Cradle Mountain to Australia’s deepest lake, Lake St Clair.
