Post deleted from /world. - no record in mod log - Lemmy.World

Hi - I had a post deleted today - I think. No record of it anywhere . It’s gone from the sub and there is no record on mod log . It had received both vote and comments. A bbc article about the Havana syndrome. Is it technical possible for a post to be deleted like that ? Leaving no trace ?

Rule 1 covers a few things, but specifically, the post title did not match the article title.

Instance admins can use purge action, which removes all data, including attachments.
But there is a record in this case.

Do mod actions actually federate this differently from subreddit visibility? That’s strange and interesting.
What do you mean?
Do mod records get federated separately, or did OP just miss the record?

I removed a couple due to duplicates being posted, it’s a popular topic today, but TBH, your username doesn’t ring a bell.

Looking at the modlog, filtered by your user name, it’s the top choice, removed 11 hours ago by a mod for Rule 1.

I admit it was different from the page title because I didn’t copy and paste because I was mobile.

Appreciate you looking into it .
