@cheesy_mojeezy i complain about the people-deafening loudspeakers at every Quakes game as well. But with the high population of children at the #BayFC home opener yesterday, I think it’s time for someone in charge of that stadium or San Jose health dept to realize #PayPalPark is damaging the hearing of both fans and workers. 60 dB is the highest level we should be exposed to, so 90 dB is ridiculously unsafe.
@soccermoviemom people have the option to bring earplugs/muffs. I saw some adults and kids wearing them.
@cheesy_mojeezy yes, we wear ear plugs pre-game. And PayPal Park will give them out if you know to go ask for them. But at 90 dB, we still have intense ear pain and can’t have conversations. But those new to the stadium aren’t getting any warnings that attending could be dangerous to your hearing health. And none of the workers are wearing hearing protection. #BayFC #quakes74 #PayPalPark #hearingloss
