Hey, it's #Harry #Dunn – former #Capitol #police #officer and current Democrat for Congress. I've done a lot of tough things in my life, like most of us have. I played college football, tried to make it in the NFL and CFL. That was pretty tough mentally, physically, emotionally. There were many tough days in my 15 years of being a Capitol police officer. But the aftermath of the January 6 #insurrection was one of the toughest things I've been through. My pain, my trauma, it didn't end on January 7. The tough days continued, even when I testified in front of #Congress. But I did it, despite the death threats and constant barrage of attacks, because it was my duty not just as an officer but as an American. Tough things build character, and I credit the tough days that I've experienced for getting me to where I am today – mentally healthy and an outspoken advocate for our democracy, running to serve Maryland.
