Brian Desmond@ivory I'm getting an error when I try to attach a PNG to a post. I’m using 1.9.3. Any ideas?

@briandesmond it’s working fine for us. Is it just that one png that fails or do all pngs? We will keep an eye on other users reporting this. Hard to say what could be the cause.
@briandesmond apps what’s the error you saw? Did the post just fail to go through?

@briandesmond those are server errors. The reason why it works from the website is because they are converting your image to a jpg to make it smaller. We don’t want to destroy a png image if it isn’t larger than the mastodon recommmended sizes. Seems like your server admin has modified a bunch of settings and one of them is the image requirements being smaller in size than mastodon defaults.
