Who has two thumbs and a nose and is feigning offense right now? This guy!
points both thumbs at nose while scowling unconvincingly
My friend had a teacher do that in public school in the late 80s.
Wouldn’t be surprised if there are still teachers who do it today.
I’m a lefty but my teachers never knew how to handle a lefty so my handwriting is also illegible. I had to go do handwriting basics (“colour in the enclosed area of the A shape”) in high school.
So mileage may vary even if leftyism is tolerated. But look at me now teachers! I type obscure commands all day and get a sore hand when I pick up a pen! Checkmate!
Found some interesting stuff, including a dissenting voice at the bottom.
‘Born this way’ doesn’t mean there is a simple diagnosis, or that a clinical diagnosis is always possible due to the complexity of biological lifeforms.
‘Born this way’ is used to refute arguments that everything is learned when it is clear that some people are not the same as the majority of the population, and to remind people that is perfectly fine.
I mean, I feel it’s kinda useless too, it keeps encouraging their “don’t mess with nature” mindset.
In the present, you like men? Go with men. I don’t care if you were “born like that” or not. What matters is you gotta live the way you want to live now (as long as it’s not actively hurting other people ofc).
Even if everything was actually learned it doesn’t mean it’s anyone else’s business what do you want to do with your life.
The thing is that the ‘cock sucking’ criterium you use is a bit beside the point.
One can stick a cock without being gay, in fact most cock sucking occurs in heterosexual context.
Then there’s the cock sucking by people who don’t identity as gay, or sometimes even staunchly advocate against gay identity.
And then there’s the cock sucking as a transactional or functional. Done people don’t love those who sport cocks, but do so to gain money or children. Or just because it’s the norm and they don’t want to be considered weird (you’d be surprised how big this group is).
The better qualification would be whom you love. And that shouldn’t be so complicated. Some people live dogs, but I don’t, that’s ok with me as long as they don’t force me to pet or be licked by their dog.
My father is a leftie and as a young child I found it cool that he could do stuff with left hand while I was only able to use my right.
That inspired me to learn how to use both arms and that really has been a blessing - being ambidexterous is awesome. It was especially great when I finally learned to stick weld with my left hand. So many impossible corners are just corners now.
To my knowing there’s round 5% of people that are totally left handed or totally right handed. Every one else, please learn to use your non dominant hand.
It’s so low-effort to name the errors of somebody so different from you.
Can you name a horrible error that people like you are guilty of?
Allowing religious “values” to infest our system of government and leadership? Trusting priests with our kids? Probably lots more.
Doesn’t make the treatment of LGBTQ+ by the “religious” right any better. (Or did you miss the point entirely?)
does anyone know anyone left-handed whose lives have been absolute hell? I’ve known two people like that.
I mean I seriously doubt it has anything to do with being born left handed, but the correlation is still there 🤷🏻♀️
