In diesen 'ecktisch-Zeiten, wo #Blinkist immer elitärer wird, die Menschheit am eigenen Wohlstand erstickt und in Deutschland die Armut ein neues Allzeithoch erfährt sowie Krieg, Klima & KI die finalen Reiter der Apokalypse seien, wage ich kaum mir die Zeit für ein Buch zu nehmen.

In these nervous days, when #Blinkist is becoming even more elitist, humanity is suffocating from its own prosperity, poverty in Germany is at an all-time high and war, climate and AI maybe the final horsemen of the apocalypse, I hardly dare take the time to read a book.

Today I discovered a new function while #ki prompting with #chatgpt. You can mark areas in an image and formulate a natural language "instruction" that only applies to this area. Wow! This solves a mega annoyance I've had with Chattie over the last few weeks: I only wanted to have one detail changed, but always got a completely new picture. Anyway, here's my island #Utopia with #SolarPunk & #Hundertwasser attitudes; supplemented by an #LTA #blimp.

@CodeFreezR the amount of energy and water resources that Generative AI exploits, usually from areas which are already trying to conserve just arent worth it. please consider searching up Real Human Artists who make #solarpunk art to attach (and attribute to) in your posts. while it is great to have visuals to enhance your words, it is important to think about whether or not the “art” actually detracts or contradicts from the words due to its source

@isla Yes, it's good to be sceptical and check every aspect of our "Digital Native Living Style". GenAI is my pencil, my natural-language driven pencil. And let's compare: This GenART takes about 45 Sek to generate on a Server who servs a lot more tasks. A Human Workflow on a big Solo Macintosh would be exclusively Online for about 4-5 h for this, perhaps even more? Sorry the AC/DC comparism wins my Prompt-Execution. I'm not the one who wants compare both. Ones are apples, ones are pears.

@Sythelux Ich schreibe auch Klima, müsste aber eigentlich Klimakrise schreiben. Nicht KI als solches ist imho das Problem, sondern der Mißbrauch. Und ebendrum schreibe ich nicht "ist" sondern "sei".
