I love thinking about how D&D fantasy worlds work from other perspectives.
This reminds me of this gem from Rat Queens vol 4.
Also, I highly suggest watching Delicious in Dungeon, basically a comedy based on a dungeon crawl for fans of the old Dragon Magazine series on Monster Ecologies. Why go back to the surface for food when you can eat what you kill?
