I often wonder, people who are still masking diligently in 2024 to avoid a neurodegenerative virus, what they were like as toddlers.. because the amount of fortitude necessary in a world that has decided to move on… there surely must be interesting backstories

I missed the opportunity to come back with "I'm a COVID harms researcher working with the University of Toronto on a risk model for COVID exposure at the workplace."

If everyone were educated on the harms & there was more mask usage, I wouldn’t be forced into practically dressing like a BSL4 worker
Had a woman stop me in the street asking if I was wearing a fencing helmet.. which reminded me of Victorian women fencing pics; great aesthetic but too much white clothes
It’s only ever cool black people that approach me. The whites, Asians & others just gawk
