I know I'm in the minority, generally, but I really did not enjoy the book, and one of the primary reasons was the complete and utter lack of concrete description and the dominance of abstraction.

"There were like, ships in the sky."

"People wore, like, some kinda suit, or whatever."

"There was, like, a thopter, which looked like a thopter."
